Our beautiful lei are made in Hawaii, and are perfect for any occasion.
In Hawaii they are given for special occasions, Graduations, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries etc.
Made using the traditional straw method, using only genuine Kukui nuts and bow, this lei makes a beautiful gift for that special occasion or person.
Each lei is approximately 34inches long and about 1.5inch in diameter. The leis are extremely soft and fluffy.
The colours are bright and vivid which are even more spectacular in real life.
Our lei are a quality genuine product and NOT a cheap plastic or paper fancy dress type which are normally sold in the UK.

These are GENUINE HAWAIIAN LEI, not the cheap tourist type.

Lei customs.
A lei is usually given with a kiss.
A lei represents love, and should never be thrown away. They can be disposed of by hanging from a tree, burying or burning, this returns the lei back to the earth.
Only an open lei should be given to pregnant or nursing women.
Always accept a lei, never refuse.
The correct way to wear a lei is gently draped over the shoulders, hanging down both front and back.
Never remove a lei in the presence of the person who gave it to you.

The Hawaiian language does not distinguish between plural and singular, so the plural of lei is just lei.
